Pilar Geijo Continues Swimming Well From Capri To Napoli

Pilar Geijo won her second Trofeo Pomilia for being the top female at the 51st edition of Maratona Del Golfo Capri-Napoli for the second time.

Pilar's track record of success at the 36 km sea competition is impressive:

2016 race: First in 6 hours 46 minutes
2015 race: Second in 6 hours 35 minutes
2014 race: Second in 6 hours 34 minutes
2013 race: DNF
2012 race: Fourth in 7 hours 33 minutes
2011 race: First in 7 hours 34 minutes
2010 race: Second in 7 hours 27 minutes
2009 race: Second in 8 hours 10 minutes

An Almanac for Open Water Swimming

An almanac is essentially a body of knowledge which is so complete that it enables people in different fields to make predictions about the future of their respective industries.

This, for example, was the purpose of the traditional farmers almanacs. It enabled farmers to determine as accurately as possible which crops to plant for the greatest harvests in a given year.

But the farmers almanac was just one example among many.
There are, of course, many different kinds of almanacs.

In fact, there is even one for open water swimming...
