Swimming Up The Road
Simon Griffiths, founder of H2Open Magazine, certainly talks the talk and walks the walk.
He will swim 31 miles in 31 pools in the U.K. from February 25th to March 1st in a pretty intense charity stage swim.
Griffiths is supported by a team from #TeamBETTER as a fund-raiser for Sport Relief with a goal to raise £9,000 during his charity stage pool swim:

Griffiths talks about his training and the logistics of his effort, "I’ve recently been swimming around 15 to 20 km per week, so it’s going to be more than double what I normally do, but barring injury or illness it sounds like a manageable distance provided I’m sensible with pacing. A bigger challenge will be to manage the logistics of travelling between the pools and making sure we eat and drink enough on the way. It’s going to be an interesting routine."
His multi-stage, multi-day charity swim reminds us of a training stage swim that we did back in 1984 in order to prepare for a 5 marathon swims done in a 6-week period in Mexico, United States and Canada. An Almanac for Open Water SwimmingAn almanac is essentially a body of knowledge which is so complete that it enables people in different fields to make predictions about the future of their respective industries.
