Jackie Cobell Comes To California

After learning her wish to swim in San Francisco Bay from Alcatraz Island, Chris 'El Sharko' Blakesle and his fellow open water swimmers from the South End Rowing Club offered the airfare and travel accommodations for the amazing Jackie Cobell to visit her fellow marathon swimmers in California and participate in the September 18th Alcatraz Invitational.

"She is very excited about swimming our Alcatraz Invitational. She talked with [International Swimming Hall of Famer and the King of the English Channel] Kevin Murphy, in Dover, who told her how well he was treated," reported Chris.
