Mohamed Zanaty Lending Marcos Diaz A Helping Hand

Olympic marathon swimmer Mohamed El-Zanaty of Egypt is helping his fellow marathoner from the Dominican Republic, Marcos Diaz, on his second leg of the second leg of his Swim Across the Continents project.

"Mohamed has been very helpful and will be there at the finish."

"He joined me at a press conference at the National Sports Council of Egypt where we received the support from the Egypt Swimming Federation and the Open Water National Team. I will train for 10 days with the Egyptian national team and then fly to Jordan to swim from Asia to Africa (Jordan to Egypt)."
