Mimi Hughes, Swimming 981 Miles From Pittsburgh To Cairo

Mimi Hughes began another one of her long staged swims, 981 miles worth in the Ohio River from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Cairo, Illinois.

Mimi plans to swim about eight hours a day for 60 days until she reaches her goal. Her goal is to raise money for groups working to improve education for women and girls. In an interesting obstacle for this staged swim, wetsuit-clad Mimi will have to walk around 30 dams along her course.
